Global Head of Sales

On behalf of our customer – a global Medtech Company - we are looking for a Global Head of Sales, living in Stockholm.

 

THE ROLE

As the Global Head of Sales, your primary objective will be to rejuvenate and expand the company’s customer base of distributors and partners. The role focuses on unlocking new market opportunities across Europe and Asia while also identifying and engaging new partners for the Company´s e-commerce platform. A key aspect of this role is to establish exclusive distribution or partner agreements that will strengthen the company’s market position.

To achieve this, efforts will be made to facilitate product registrations, enabling entry into additional markets. Expanding distribution capacity by collaborating with new partners is central to this strategy. Additionally, the Company aims to increase brand visibility and customer engagement by implementing innovative marketing solutions, with the e-commerce platform serving as a critical platform for this initiative. The overarching goals for the Company are to broaden its geographic reach, secure exclusive distribution partnerships, streamline product registration processes to accelerate market entry, and strengthen its brand position in the industry.

 

Key Responsibilities

-Lead and execute strategic initiatives: Drive the growth of the distributor and partner network in new and current markets, with a focus on Europe, the MENA region and Asia.

-Establish the e-commerce platform in Europe:

-Cultivate and maintain customer relationships: Foster long-term collaboration and growth with existing customers.

-Collaborate with internal stakeholders: Ensure alignment on regulatory processes, production planning and commercial goals to achieve unified business objectives.

-Maintain Awareness of Timelines and Shelf Life: Ensure strict adherence to product timelines and monitor shelf life to optimize inventory management and reduce waste.

-Develop and Expand the Customer Database: Build, maintain, and enhance a comprehensive customer database to support sales growth and improve customer relationship management.

-Hold Budget Responsibility for the Business area: Oversee and manage the budget for the business are, ensuring financial targets are met and profitability is achieved.

-Prospect and Explore New Markets: Identify and pursue growth opportunities in new markets, fostering partnerships and opening pathways for business expansion.

 

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENT AND ABILITIES

-Proven international experience working with distributors, agents, and partners in an international context.

-A strong track record of identifying and executing new business opportunities.

-Familiarity with regulatory processes and the ability to communicate and coordinate these requirements internally.

-A proactive, results-oriented approach with a clear focus on business growth and revenue generation.

-Demonstrate Strong Business Acumen. Apply a commercial mindset to drive business growth, identify new opportunities, and make strategic decisions that enhance overall business performance.

-Operate in a Process-Oriented Manner. Follow and improve structured processes to ensure operational efficiency, consistency, and scalability across key business activities.

-A good team player.
