Senior Sales Manager, Sweden & Norway

To our customer – a global Medtech Company – we are looking for a Senior Sales Manager.

The position is based in Sweden. The role includes travel flexibility with focus on Norway and Sweden with extensive field presence.

 

Position

As a Senior Sales Manager you are responsible for identifying, supporting and further developing important customer relationships with a focus on, but not limited to, the hospital market in Norway and Sweden.

As Senior Sales Manager you will report directly to the Sales Director in Sweden with dotted line to the Sales Director in Norway and Nordic Segment lead. Nordic cooperation and coordination will be important both vs customers as well as internally and vs vendors.

 

Responsibilities

·      Lead and coach a team of 4 sales representatives in Sweden and Norway.

·      Responsible for the strategic design and effective implementation of growth strategies and tactics of the assigned product area for existing and new customers.

·      Drive sales initiatives to build opportunity pipeline, position and implement tenders, build up/x-sell actions and nurture relationships.

·      Sales, performance and territory management to drive sales excellence.

·      Cooperation with vendors to fully manage the future sales of portfolio and build market.

·      Manage key accounts and ongoing projects onsite including training, events and sales within accounts.

·      Manage local investments and initiatives in line with budget.

·      Being the lead of the business area in operating with tender team on long term plans to manage future tender success rates.

·      Forecasting, budgeting, market analysis, business case development, customer needs insights, pricing, risk assessment are all natural parts of the job.

·      Manage new growth areas where applicable.

We are looking for a hands on leader with leadership experience. You understand public tender market and the daily life of care givers. Furthermore, you have an ambiguous and flexible mindset.
