On behalf of our customer – an international Pharmaceutical Company - we are looking for a Public Affairs Manager, living in the Stockholm Area.

THE ROLE
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will, together with your colleague, lead the positioning of the Company as a strong actor within the Swedish Life Sciences sector. You will contribute to driving a strengthened policy agenda with a clear external focus. Your role will involve shaping and driving the Company’s external affairs priorities and agenda to maximize opportunities for the current and future product portfolio and pipeline. This includes optimizing market access, increasing predictability of the regulatory environment, and improving profitability through both short- and long-term engagements with authorities, key stakeholders, and industry bodies.
-Identify policy and healthcare issues that impact the Company’s prioritized therapy areas and integrate these insights into the evolving commercial strategy.
-Align the governmental affairs agenda with senior leaders, policymakers, diplomatic representatives, think tank groups, and patient organizations, positioning the Company as a key partner. Take responsibility for corporate reputation and drive the Company’s leadership and visibility in Sweden and beyond.
-Build trust-based working relationships with key national stakeholders and policymakers, understanding their priorities and influence. Effectively manage the Company’s external reputation and shape the landscape for its prioritized therapeutic areas.
-Establish long-term partnerships with key stakeholders and patient associations in line with the priorities of the governmental affairs plan. Drive and execute the governmental affairs strategy in collaboration with your colleague.
-Participate in relevant key trade and business associations in Sweden.
-Support and align with external affairs colleagues within the broader European network.
-Ensure high-level compliance in all initiatives and daily operations.
COMPETENCE REQUIREMENT AND ABILITIES
5+ years of experience from Governmental Affairs within;
-Strong project management orientation with ability to prioritize and lead complex issues (external and internal) and list of projects to completion.
-Excellent oral and written level of Swedish and English.
-Master’s degree in an appropriate field or equivalent experience.
