To our customer Norgine we are looking for a Key Account Manager, Nordic, to the newly established Business Unit within Pediatric Oncology/Rare Disease.

Due to the Nordic nature of the role, you may be located in Denmark or Norway (near an airport).

In this role, you will also be part of establishing a new unit dedicated to Pediatric Oncology and Rare Diseases - an area receiving increased attention within the company.

THE ROLE

MAIN PURPOSE

The KAM position is a customer-facing role that will lead sales and selected marketing efforts for Norgine’s newly established Business Unit within Pediatric Oncology/Rare Disease.

In this role it is crucial to gain insights and understand needs of the health care institutions, HCPs and the patient community. You will be a partner, collaborate, inform and educate to improve patient outcomes and drive uptake of Norgine´s products. The role covers strategic sales planning and execution, tactical marketing and omnichannel engagement.

The primary target groups include physicians, department heads, decision-makers, regional payers, and patient organizations, with potential additional stakeholders to consider. Across the Nordic region, the total number of patients is estimated to be only 40–50.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

-Health care ecosystem, patient journey, and treatment pathways for Pediatric Oncology patients; develop cross-functional account plans to build key stakeholder relationships and drive science-based initiatives that establish Norgine’s products and deliver clear patient value.

-Comprehensive market analysis; effectively identify opportunities and challenges for maximizing growth of Norgine´s products.

-In-depth sales strategies; align with overall business objectives, including customer target setting and action planning. Secure coordination of cross functional KOL plan.

-Relationships with healthcare decision-makers and influencers; develop customer engagement strategies to enable access and provide scientific information through multi- and omnichannel communication to the target audience.

-Local marketing initiatives; align with Nordic strategy to develop and implement services that integrate Norgine’s products into healthcare systems, improving treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction.

-Collaboration with healthcare professionals; optimize patient pathways and treatment protocols in alignment with the latest clinical guidelines and best practices, ensuring swift and efficient patient access to new therapies.

-Promotional budget; effectively secure accurate phasing and monthly follow up. Maximize ROI and alignment to strategic direction.

-Cross functional collaboration; ensure alignment on market strategies, key account management and customer engagement. Responsible for structured way of insight generation and sharing within the team.

 

You will be reporting to Head of Commercial, Pediatric Oncology and Rare Diseases.

 

KNOWLEDGE

-Deep understanding of the health care eco system and understanding how and where to impact.

-Experience in brand management and/or omnichannel engagement.

-Proficient in managing multiple projects simultaneously with an ability to prioritize under pressure.

-Accountability, quick adaptation to changes and strong innovative capability.

-Customer centric mindset.

-Self-going and a high ability to work with different people and transform insights into actions.

 

SKILLS

-Comfortable in a scientific setting.

-A drive to achieve targets and objectives.

-Analytical skills and strategic thinking, ability to identify and remove barriers.

-Strong leadership capabilities to motivate teams and influence key stakeholders.

-Excellent communication skills, essential for articulating complex information and fostering strong professional relationships.

-Capacity to deal with planning and scoping of activity when full information is not available, including contingency planning.

 

COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS

- University degree from relevant fields such as science, economics, medical or pharmacy.

-5+ years of experience from the pharmaceutical industry.

-Demonstrated success in specialty pharmaceutical sales, ideally within Pediatric Oncology/Oncology or Rare Diseases.

-Experience from one additional Nordic country is an advantage.

-Native/Fluent in Danish or Norwegian and advanced English capabilities.
